When the sun goes down, Barcelona changes its face. Streets that by day seem full of life, history and beauty reveal another city at night: quieter, more unsettling, and far less known. Dark Barcelona is a self-guided route designed for you to discover, at your own pace, the darker side of the Catalan capital. You will walk through places linked to real crimes, macabre events and disturbing episodes that have marked the city over the last 200 years. For a more immersive experience, I recommend starting the route around sunset, when the light fades, the shadows grow, and Barcelona begins to reveal its darker side.
